National Student Survey update
Response rates are still down on this time last year. By Friday 16 February, the overall institutional response rate was 65% (down 5% on 2017).
The Terracotta Warriors have arrived
A regiment of 2,200-year-old Terracotta Warriors is now on show in Liverpool as part of a blockbuster exhibition at the World Museum and LJMU has negotiated a fantastic ticket deal for students.
Professors and Readers conferment
Applications are invited for the conferment of Professorships and Readerships. The deadline for submissions is 9.00am, Monday 12 March 2018.

Directed Study Week kicked off on Monday 19 February and will run until Friday 23 February.
Get involved with Wellbeing Week (26 February – 2 March)
Wellbeing Week is a timely reminder of the importance of looking after ourselves. From crochet to yoga, Wellbeing Week is an opportunity to try new things and learn how taking time out for these activities can promote positive mental health and keep you happy and healthy in 2018.
Volunteering Fair
As part of Wellbeing Week on 27 February, over 30 organisations will be exhibiting at LJMU's Volunteer Fair, sharing exciting volunteering opportunities for both students and staff.
One week until Results Notification Day
For all students who have completed a module in Semester One, Results Notification Day is Monday 26 February 2018.
UKES and PTES start on 26 February
This is a reminder that this year's UK Engagement Survey (UKES) and Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) will be launched on Monday 26 February. Both surveys will remain open until 15 June.

Getting to grips with Telephony Replacement Project
In the January Management update, we announced details about an exciting telephony replacement project that will see IT Services replace the legacy telephone system which has been in place since 1989. ITS Project Manager Saul Hoggarth explains more.
New parking Penalty Charge Notices introduced
As agreed by the SMT, Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) will come into effect on University car parks at Tithebarn Street and I M Marsh Campus from Thursday 1 March. PCNs will be applied to other campus areas in due course – details to follow.
